Description Here I stand alone,
Upon the rainy moors of an empty soul,
like the day I watched you go.
If you'd stayed would anything have changed?
Would the shouting stop, or the empty screams fade away?

Would you hold my hand and look into my eyes,
Let me know that the world is safe beyond that first step.
That tiny little step that shows me a world of bright lights,
The bright lights showing a persons life going into overdrive.
This worlds too bright for my empty eyes.

The angels guarding the dead, do you think they know the sins or those they guard?
The just stare over the burial ground with just their empty faces,
Time and mother nature can break their wings and let them fade away,
they'd still guard the damned.

Snow-white winters and Sunny days of picnics in the park,
A dream-like state to lose my mind,
A lonely place without your hand, or your smile at the silly jokes I make,
God I miss how it felt to wrap you in my arms.
I miss how it felt to protect and feel the worth of love.

Barren woodlands, harsh deserts, this world is so alone and broken,
I miss the life you injected into my bloodstream,
My body feels like it's been broken and thrown up for sale,

I can't think straight, I keep rubbing the steam off my bathoom mirror and all I can see is your broken body, Smiling back at me.
I keep waking up hoping to hear the hair dryer, or to smell the perfume that makes me nose tingle.
Your not here though, you left long ago.
The smell of must fades away any dreams I had of you.

The world's become a never-ending graveyard,
And the directions I take can't even take me back to you.
The glass floor makes my feet hurt and bleed and I keep saying this isnt real,
I keep praying I wake up.
But even if I do.
You wont be there.

reading the end of that i got an image of walking through a wasteland, and every time i looked up to see someone (it was pretty crowded for a wasteland, all things considered ), they would collapse and die, and somehow i knew they would never be buried

the last 3 lines seem rushed, but other than that it was an interesting read
