A tile-laced rooftop where I lay my head
I watch the nights sky.
It's hard to contemplate all the thoughts in my head,
I can see your face in the night sky staring down at me,
The smile burning as brightly as the stars.
I can smell the scent of your hair.

Standing on the rooftop I often wonder,
how could someone like you love someone like me,
the question echoes in the back of my skull within every kiss
but I know it's not because of what I am
but who I am.

You don't judge by what people do or say
you see them for who they are and even though you deny it so often
You are so beautiful to me you always were and always are

Your blue eyes pierce through the cloudy sky,
Caught my attention in a game of cat and mouse
I'll chase your eyes whilst you hide among the clouds,
Your smile gives you away though.

I can't believe this feeling inside of me,
Within every kiss or every smile.
Nothing in the world compares to it.
And I'd search the world just to prove it.

I know I may never be the perfect guy,
at times I know I can be restless,
I can't hide how I feel from you.

You are everything I've ever dreamed of.
My rock , my strong place able to keep me together.
