You awaken my soul, in the middle of the night,I’m dreaming of you, searching for the light,
Searching for an answer to how it could be,
How this could happened; between you and me,
I try and think back, to times I was with you,
Remembering emotions, the feelings felt true,
Yet a few simple words have torn us apart,
Words that are false, just lies from the start,
And now you ignore me, with nothing more to say,
You’re a painful memory and that's where you'll stay...
You are now something I will always regret,
Ungrateful for everything, since the day we met,
And every single day, as the time goes by,
I try to forget you, but I cant so I cry,
Carved into my heart, imprinted into my soul,
Are memories of you, in which ill try to let go,
But to let go of memories is the hardest thing to do,
I know because I’m trying but I still remember you,
You left a hole within my heart, where pain and sorrow fill,
And now it’s in my head becoming thoughts I cannot kill,
I wish I’d never met you, so you wouldn’t be in my mind,
I would have never loved you, if I’d known it’d be so unkind,
Everyday I want to forget the thoughts you gave to me,
Hoping I could move on, so finally I can be free…
