Description
So, today is what I consider to be my 6 year anniversary, using the first drawing that purposely saved. The ones from 2006 were thought to be lost until I discovered them recently. With that being said, I'd like to point out some things in regards to the drawings:

For me, I am a bit obsessed with getting the body perfect, or at least close. To me, it's always been more important than design, color or shading. In that regard, how correctly I draw a body is what I both look for and focus on. In a sense, you can say that this had hindered me in being more creative with the overall layout, design, background, style and so on. But I digress. The purpose of this anniversary and redrawing of the pose is to see how far I've come in drawing the body.
Another thing is that I have the most difficulty with male bodies. Given that I am a female, skinny, and lacking of muscle definition, I have trouble grasping how the male figure moves in certain poses without a reference. So, with these, I am trying to see how to transform my understanding of the female figure into a fit, male figure.
As for the absence of legs in the most recent drawing, the pose I had for them was a bit too "feminine." I have a tendency to gravitate towards "feminine" poses because I like twists and curves. However, my goal was to try and make a more "masculine" body, so I omitted them.

So....that was a long explanation, though it was much shorter than the one in my head lol. I have a tendency to over-think things in there lol.
