Because a lot of people compare it to super low budget films and think it's bad. All youtube reviews are pretty negative... don't know why it's a cute lil film with plenty of little touches that push it above the average bar.

Actually it was Riff and Skozz in the car, Linnux is the boss wolf.

Aside of everything everything had it's moment, but also lacked. Sometimes animation was too stale, plot was a big weird. But yes little touches like you said were superb. Or those few scenes they animated when Bodi walks, dances during that one scene, dodges stuff. Amazing fluid animation which speaks to me. Also I'd highly appreciated if you didn't link stuff in comments, please edit it. I know that link and I already saw the movie.
