I'm not going to let it drive me from DA but when I submit to a group and it sits for 4 days while other peoples work is being accepted, that pisses me off. Then you send me a message with some BS about the lighting and I look thru the pics in the group and there's ALOT of other pics in there darker than mine...that's BS !

I think some of the groups I'm in people only look at the approval queues of certain subfolders, and I may use less well monitored folders

Not only my group but other groups I admin too, I see pics waiting for all folders...I don't think there's a way to only see certain folders waiting for approval. Atleast, I don't think there is.

not sure, but I do know when I get feedback from a few groups the feedback comes from different people based on what folder I've submitted to,Β though I've never been an admin of a group, so I don't know any of the intricacies

I think it's from whomever is looking at it at the time {the feedback part}...Feedback that I have gotten from the sames groups my pieces are waiting for approval for come from different people too and it's always the same category...

ok, makes sense, and like I say, I have no experience.Β I can kind of understand how there can be a backlog, I generally have a few hundred notifications on my account and I check twice a day, so I imagine the approval lists on the more popular groups could be pretty epic

I did an experiment in my group once...I purposely didn't do any approvals, I wanted to see how long they sat until they were approved/disapproved.
