Done in Sai 80% done with a mouse (i couldnt finish it a home so i brought it to work) i forget how much work it is to colour with a mouse so i have 48 layersman i am drawin allot girls that kill zombie these days
i only watch 2 episodes of the HOTD Anime

48 layers, thought i was the only one that went crazy with layers, i hit 231 layers with that one robot chick i did a while back, after that i started flattening all my layers . mind sending me your .PSD of this? curious of your work flow.

wow 231 that must be a record r something. actually i have stopped using PS like 7 months, it is done Sai and my work flow name is chaos lol. usually in PS i use like 5 layers r more of skin and i dont use straight colours the colours or make like a blend of different colours and layers like this one [link] i think i use red , yellow orange and magenta all flat colours not includin shaded layers for skin done with a mouse too

solid colors and the shading on the top layers, cool method, i like to gray scale paint stuff myself in the beginning. So why use Sai? I've been seeing that program alot, but not sure what it is exactly.

actually i shaded both below and top (well it depends). i start with a single colour multiply(top)or pin light(below) layer. (my colour technique is like experimental all the time PS 
why i use sai
* it has a stabilizer which smoothen lines when drawing with a tablet
* it has like the best line tools ever
* my pc is crap PS freezes it somethings
* because i draw cartoony stuff (i meant lines are clearly visible. altho i really like concept art i cannot do it)
