Description

Esleh Gol is a former Combine Constabulary Officer that specialized in Negotiations, whether hostage or attempting to get information out of an informant she was the best there was. Esleh was rated as an Esper when she reached the age of 215; a not uncommon thing with the Esper latent Elharnians and at that point joined the Constabularies Special Tasks Force still as a negotiator.

Esleh retired from the ECCO in 5987 C.E. and entered the private market as both a skilled Aero-Mancer and Negotiator; although rare sometimes those two skill paths did cross.

Currently Esleh is working for Foxfire Consolidated a small PMC/Security company that is owned in part by Masters Armaments Security Services.

The company pays extremely well for the skills of its operatives and it’s rare for Esleh not to be called in when two businesses are unable to come to an agreement, or two small star nations or factions in one are rattling sabers at each other.

Often times Esleh and her team will also be hired out to planets which are having environmental issues/emergencies and Esleh has found herself acting as self-generating wind for sail powered fishing fleets or as a fire jumper using her Aero-Mancy skills to put out raging forest fires.

Among other things Esleh is an accomplished singer and dancer although not of the level of a superstar.

This is a character that is in the starting packages chapter of the core book and is an example of an aero-mancer.

So what can tech control and can't control? Maybe magic is life elements water Earth air and fire.

Well nannites can manipulate everything animal, vegetable, mineral.

The rest of technology is pretty good as well; there are food synthesizer that break down mineral blocks to make whatever food and whatnot. Self forming furniture, and experiments in quantum flux-space are progressing; which is technology along the lines of something similar to the TARDS; bigger area in a smaller area.

Espers/Psychic abilities are broken up into two main branches -

Elemental -
Aero - Manipulates Air
Ferro - Manipulates Metallic objects
Hydro - Manipulates water and ice
Pyro - Manipulates Heat and fire
Terro - Manipulates earth, plants, animals

Mind & Body -
Cognitive - Able to see past, present, future
Chrono - manipulates time to a small degree
Empathic - Able to read/manipulate auras and emotions
Sensate - Able to manipulate the body for good or ill
Telepathic - Able to read/manipulate the mind
Telekinetic - Move objects with mind

As for magic when I get around to finally doing it this is the basic gist of it -

I've decided on summoners; basically a magus can summon Aethir [something that exists between universes blah, blah; still working on what it actually is] and bind it to a form and then bind that form to a gemstone of some sort; clarity and what not will determine how powerful an aethir construct can be bound to it; i.e. how much the damn gem costs.

The aethir construct can either be a creature or some other thing like a fireball or boulder or something; depending on the power of the creature or hit points it has determines how long it can be used for and how long it takes to recharge; i.e. a 50 point fireball would take 50 minutes to recharge itself or a 500 HP creature would take 500 minutes to recharge before reuse.

To bind the aethir the magus must do a ritual to both bind it to a form and then to the gemstone.

Types of creatures will probably be bound to a similar type of gem; I.E. water type creatures to sapphires, plant creatures to emeralds, undead to onyx/malachite etc.

The gemstones can be used loose or be part of jewelry such as rings, necklaces etc. or embedded in a staff or wand.

A person can make their own constructs or purchase pre-made ones; their level will determine how much aethir they can interact with and how powerful of constructs they can control.

Well that's my current idea - if you have suggestions, questions, or opinions i'd be happy to hear them.

I see well that is rather interesting although speaking of these jewels brings me back to Rebecca's status with that Drecca. So does that work exactly I mean I remember writing her as able to have that control jewel move about her body from say her naval to her neck and it could change size. Hell she could even go from wearing yoga pants to a pant suit. Does that include magic or just nanotech

Well the light/jewel is where Dekras information is kept; after her seed was able to infect Rebecca it built a larger repository so as to control the seeds of the other Sinveck that Rebecca is now carrying as well. And yes it is able to move around to wherever it would be best; and the bio-nannites can form any type of clothing; although most of the time it does have a slightly glossy sheen to it.

No magic on that; although the Sinveck nannites are biological instead of mechanical in design; that is why Dekras is able to get around Rebecca's NRS and cure her of cancer.

Oh yeah and her cancer what kind was it ovarian, cervical, pancreatic, or lymphoma? So how many Sinveck are inside of her. Heck I can imagine without Dekras she'd die from cancer.

A new form of cancer that as far as I know doesn't exit; cancer cell form around the nerve endings causing loss of feeling then finally paralysis and of course the cancer growths themselves.

What about FNE Cancer, Free nerve ending cancer or Sensory Neurotic cancer

Hmm; as a name for it I'm assuming since I can't find anything on those.

Well you said it was unnamed, and I figured that naming it would help

Oh; Sorry; the way it was worded I wasn't sure if you were suggesting names or letting me know there were already cancers like that.
