My camera is terrible for this kind of shot but i tried my best. I'll save more this summer for a better one, but school is costing a ton. But I still wanted to try and catch the expression of this metaphor, the angle and shape and curves of such a beautiful flower that lasts in my mind. It protects itself so well, and it's been inspiring to see it unfold. Hope someone enjoys it too.

This is so wonderful. You can see the velvity and veiny texture of the rose petals. The detail is incredible. The spiral bloom and mesmorizing shape of the flower is so enchanting. A classic shot - boheme style.

Great photo, and I think the flaw lobsterclaw noticed is ok, and adds a little thing more to the whole shot, just like a joke in a business meeting, that reminds you life can always be laughed at...

If I simply said this was gorgeous I would be understating drastically. The contrast is exquisite, combined with the lavish color it brings out the velvety richness of each separate petal in a special, personal, way.
