And he made us curious in a such a brutal fashion we would not forget the lesson...
all in all this is the one character I really loved i the series.

Me too. I can understand how people just wouldn't "get" him, but I found him fascinating.

I've never been able to visualize this transformation on my own. Your interpretation seems pretty accurate, which makes me feel even worse for Leto in the books. I'd call him a tragic hero.

Definitely one of the weirder parts of the Frank sequels, but well captured! Way to take one for the team of humanity, Leto II!

Agreed, very strange. That's why I felt I needed to put it to paper. It makes it easier to get through the story if you have a better idea what he looks like. (I'd still like to see a movie of it... or a graphic novel.)

Thanks! I tried to pay close attention to the details when I read it this time. I remember having trouble picturing him in the past.
