Hehe. Thanks, mate. I had to clone away a couple of flags, one or two signs, at least four buses and a few hundred tourists, so I did not actually avoid them as much as I removed them in Photoshop.

Ah, so my recollection of the place was correct!

It would be sooo stunning if you took away the tourists and the tourist shops...

Have you been to Saint Michael's Mount ? This is a very similar thing, but on a smaller scale and in the UK. It may still have the tourists, but no shops inside the walls. You can only walk there at low tide if I remember correctly...
