Description This was done in photoshop, over several weeks... so I'm not clear on the total number of hours it took.

I named her Lucretia, I'm not sure why, it just seemed strange appropriate to the creature. The image was part of my senior art exhibit at my school. I was influenced a number of surialist spanish artist like Remedios Varos and others. So I created this strange flowing creature on the spot with a crappy ballpoint pen. Still, I knew I was onto something with it and did a few more renditions.

In stages, I drew the pencil draft in .5; traced that with a tandard fine-tipped pilot ink pen, skanned it into photoshop and treated it a bit to clean it up some more.

Then I colored her, wich took a long time! I took a few photos of some nicely celtic looking Irish landscapes and molded them together in photoshop. I altered the sky and and added the red moon and the light sphere in ps as well.
