I turned around and saw him standing there with his bird.
This photo gives good insight into the whole culture of pilots. It really is a different culture. Everyone is always chatting it up with a complete stranger, but they converse as if they were best friends.

This guy got out of his plane with his bike and his bird and was simply going around talking to the other pilots. No one seemed to feel that the bird siting on his bike was out of the ordinary.
