You're right, actually. The bells on the back of her boots are rockets, and the whole suit is kinetic energy themed-- she controls the suit via gestures, and its subtler traits include KE projectors built into the forearms and materials designed to distribute and dissipate the force of impact.
(Varcel had this commissioned for me. She's a real peach, and Bokuman's a fantastic pin-up artist.)
