Not meant to deceive visitors in any way in passing this off as an ancient structure... more like an architectural folly (among others) a local Pennsylvania neighborhood / community made a park out of inspiration from the ancients, and paid for the most part out of their own pockets.

Ah, late '70s, interesting. Never been to America, but we have old naturally assembled rock structures in the UK called 'Tors', although they're not as neat as this.
