Where I used to merge 3 different bracketed exposures, this image originates from one single RAW capture: [link]

From that RAW file, I generated 5 exposures: neutral, -0.66, -1.33, +0.66, and +1.33. Then let Photomatix work its magic to produce a result far better imo than the 3-shot bracketed exposure I captured and merged manually: [link]
