And while everyone else is onboard the DruRich at the medal ceremony and subsequent party, someone has to mind the store. That would be me. Ostensibly I'm supposed to be in the tower, monitoring the system for communication and ship traffic. But there's none of either. And the Pride needs some work adapting to these new 24th century engines. So I'm out on the frosty airfields and while the AIs watch the nothing in local space, at least I'm getting stuff done. 150 years in the future and nothing's really changed in the life of Angela Marsh. I do hope Meg shows up with that warm cider and cookies soon...
