I know what you mean. You should check out Helen Chen's blog, she's amazing! Anyway, I always felt that way when looking at her figures and faces in particular. I've been trying to concentrate more on drawing realistically when I practice, that and more life drawing.

Great work...As a 11 or 12 year old discovering Gambit for the first time was like X-Mas...The trench coat, long floppy hair, smoking cigs, LOL! I was so easily manipulated.

That's cool, I love memories like that. For me it was the Jim Lee x-men covers. I was never really a Gambit fan, I don't know why but I always looked at him like he was trying to be Longshots replacement.
