You might be able to do that. I've never tried that before.

I primarily use filters - those built in and those I got as a present from my cousin from Alien Skin, a site you can either download them or purchase them.

Oh filters? Oh like which ones? I'm gonna color a drawing that I want to use filters on but I'm not sure how to do that textured look that you used. I've seen that look on other peoples work but I still have no clue how to do it!

I think I have heard of something with reborn in it, but I don't remember where I saw it. Probably at the store actually!

No, I don't sell my work... However, I might want to get one or two pieces of prints sold at a convention if the tenth gets a booth (hopefully). I don't think I could even get one sold, but she's kind enough to be willing to try.

Ha ha ha... thanks, but I'm not popular because I'm not as good as they are. I know my place. But thanks anyway... I just really hope I can do something to help earn the tenth a wee bit of money. It wouldn't be nice if boss were stuck with prints that can't sell...

No problem! Oh thats not true at all!!! I'm not popular at all! But whenever I'm at school(I'm in college) people really like my work, and so do the teachers, and the universitie reps said they liked my work. So its just other factors which is making it that way! I'm telling you, your work is sooo nice! My chartoon drawings are nowhere near as good as yours! Have you seen any of my work? Well mine is not all that great right now. I'm trying my best to get better, and I just totally suck at porpotion! So its like when I see your work I'm like O.O Beautiful! I think part of it is just popularity actually. I see some peoples artwork, and I'm like... ehhh its not much to it. I've seen work that people are like Holey crap about, but then the only thing I like about it is like either the background or the shading. Seriously, don't get discouraged over it. Its no biggy. You got amazing work. Well I guess my work isn't really all that bad, but I tend to like how others peoples porpotion is compared to mine. I know lots about art, so I could tell when someone really has a talent in art. Not that its always obvious, there are those that aren't originally even born with the talent, but work really hard at it. So Whats the tenth exactly? Oh I'm sure they would sell. You gotta make sure tho, to use the right kinda paper for the prints, otherwise some people might not want to buy the work as much. I know that poster paper is always popular. Its called??? I totally forgot? Well if all else fails tho, going to a printing place always works. I usually just print my stuff myself, it could be cheaper that way, but depending on how good your printer works also depends. Cause you want good quality too.

Now, now, that's not very nice to say about someone else's art... we may not prefer all aspects of it, but I don't think that makes it any less than others'. People are often popular for a reason. What we have are personal tastes.

I'm not discouraged over it, please don't get me wrong. I have a tendency to analyze and deal with things objectively. Of course, I have a different level of people I compare myself with and hope to join the ranks of... well, to some extent. But far from feeling discouraged, I'm usually more or less pushed to want to do better, so I can experience their association too. But... I don't really enjoy thinking that my work's amazing. There's always room for improvement, imho. I'm not born with talent. I got D's for art till I graduated from high school, and I'm a programmer. Art isn't the most important thing to me; my family is. So I don't care enough to be discouraged over it.

I won't be physically there. I don't appear in public - even if I AM there, I'd usually not say anything. I'll be sending the tenth soft copies and she'll decide how to handle it.

The tenth is the boss of my mafia e-family. I'm her right-hand man, and damn proud of it.

Hmmmm.. maybe. I sometimes think its about popularity, cause I see some really nice pieces that don't really get any attention, and then there are those that get lots of attention and I don't get it sometime? You know? I don't believe the popular artist work are bad, but I just notice how some of them have a similar look to other artists, so its not as distinct as some other artist, but yet they get all the attention? I guess thats how I see it. But the thing is I know popularity is important in some aspects, not how much your artwork has worth, because your work is defentely original and very nice, but in some ways if you have popularity you will sell more work, and then you will get more attention, so that you can get something out of what you put out, all the work your put into it, the heart into it, the materials. Altho the thing is that just because your not popular here on da doesn't mean you can't get a commisssion by a company, or sell work at the anime conventions either. Because artists tend to have a differnt outlook on art, compared to the person who isn't an artist and it probably also depends on the type of people here on da. Many of the people seem to be into very similar types of fanart. Most people like the pop culture here, so if someone did something of like... little princess or something like a drama or something like that, that would probably not get very much attention. (unless it was done in anime style) And then many people are into similar fanwork too. Like pokeomon, final fantasy, sonic, naruto, death note, legend of zelda, and some others. Even tho theres a broad variety people still tend to stick to what they like too.

Well thats good tho that you have a good attitude about it all tho!!! I get easily discouraged about some things. Altho when I really think about it I start to thinking well I do need some improvement, but I still have something thats worth wile. And people do appreciate my work. I guess part of the problem is that I would like to think that I have art thats nice and people appreciate my work, but my parents don't really like my work, so I look for other people to tell me whether I'm taltented or not. So its kinda a problem about my feelings of unapproval and unappreciation.
But I know my friends at school like my work the teachers do too, so do many other people, and I'll be able to get a job eventually after I finish school or during school. I worrie that if I don't improve that I won't be able to do the things I love. So that why.

Oh really? Well the good thing about going to places and selling the work yourself is that sometime people want to talk to the artist and you could possibly get commissions and meet new people who have an interest in my work.
