Description
During the events of my comic "The Rais", Toadette was dating Ruben (Toad's cousin). They starting going out in their senior year of high school, and broke up during the star festival in Super Mario Galaxy. Because of the breakup, Toadette went to Toad for comfort while Ruben started boasting to the other Toads about how great he was to make himself feel better. This is also part of the reason for Captain Toad's arrogant attitude in Galaxy, and around the time the Toad brothers began to get sick of Ruben a little. Toadette and Ruben eventually made up before the events of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, agreeing to start over as friends They are now "Adventure Pals". Ps. "The Rais" takes place before "New Super Mario Bros Wii" and "Luigi x Toadette".
