This helped soooo much but i have a question........ when your drawing different expressions how do you convey surprise or something like that?
Ohh and does sadness need a different shaped eye or just eyebrow?

when drawing sadness .... lol well, i imagine the sad face XD and everything seems to just droop. so the outer half of the top lid arch would be more droopy, sloping downward, rather than the downhill side of an arch (of like a rainbow). hMMmm I don't know how to explain it really... xD
for ultimate sadness, droop eyes AND eyebrows! and make puddly tears, that'll get them xD
