umm...well, she's an angel.. and.. she's my own creation and so she's still unamed lol. hmm.. im just gonna call her Yume.
took me bout 4 days to finish it. im not really satisfied with how it turned out though -___-;; [couldve been MUCH better]
i really liked how the moon turned out though =]
maybe one day ill improve on this picture and resend it...
art information:
outlined a pose of myself and turned it anime-ish
everything was drawn and painted in photoshop
also it took about 20-something layers...

the first thing that popped into my mind after i saw this was 'woman in the moon'! she's real pretty, and i love how the moon glows & has dragon features!

That's really gorgeous...I adore the detail in the wings and the simplicity of the setup. Most everything seems really smooth. I'd suggest softening/blending the linework on her skin a bit, and try for a little more contrast in the coloring and shading. I really like the way the sky looks, and the moon's shape is beautiful.

ooo... you're SO right... i didnt know how to really add shadows/lighting because she's sitting on the moon -__-;;
too difficult for me hah. im still learning how to use photoshop -.o

since she's sitting on the moon, what you can do is place your source of light as... the moon. It's not full, and there is a spot where the's less of it, ne? So you can make the lighter parts of her towards the moons edges around her, and the darker shading towards the empty space. Just keep the source in mind. ^_~

The pose looks really good, as far as her form, and proportions, and angles are concerned. I think a little shading down where her thigh is bent up would help to denote the bend of her leg, to separate it from her torso?
