Darkest thing I will ever draw.jesus freaking
this game just produces emotional responses far too powerful to let these scenes go unillustrated, so I needed to draw this.
Consider this a teaser image for the blog post I'll put up later today, concluding my playthrough of Shuu's brain-explodingly shocking path through Hatoful Boyfriend.

Y'know, I found out about this game through this picture and downloaded the demo. Is it worth paying the $5 for? Also, lovely picture by the way, errybody seems to fangirl over Shuu.

I think it's absolutely worth $5. If you enjoyed the demo at all it means you have the right sense of humor for it, and there's only more of that in the full version. There are extended endings, more scenes with the birds during school (and elsewhere), and one additional character (Anghel) who's so awesome that playing a dating sim with him ALONE would be worth $5.
And then there's the Bad Boys Love route... @_@ Which takes every character and everything you've learned about them on its head, sheds most of them in a completely new light as you learn some heartbreaking thing about their past, and any answers that were left hanging in the main route of the game reach their conclusions. Such as, why is Hiyoko in a school for pigeons? Who were those men that hunted down Shuu? What happened to Nageki in the past?
