I'm supposed to be doing my assignments but ended up drawing Syrena from Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides.

I haven't watch the movie yet but this character captures my attention. I saw some of the clips from the movie and I really like the relationship between her and Philip, a captive missionary that aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge ship.

At first I didn't mean to make a portrait-looking picture and I was surprised by the final result. For the color, I was thinking of using dark tones to create a gloomy effect. But I also wanted to look rusty and old, so I used "Grunge Texture" by "struckdumb". Here's the link to the texture. Thank you so much, your texture is amazing! [link]
