Yayyy already chapter 2! This is going pretty well. So I am currently collecting Warrior name ideas for Goldpaw, Butterflypaw, Rubypaw and Lilacpaw, so others request I include them a bit more for some personality traits and stuff. In this picture you can see (in order) Butterflypaw, Lilacpaw, Moonpaw and Rubypaw. Enjoy! :3

Moonpaw returned to the sandy arena to find a battle between Mintpaw and Featherpaw. Moonpaw dropped her herbs to cheer: „Go Mintpaw! You can do it!“ The shecat seemed to gain even more energy and scrambled under Featherpaw.

Mintpaw was very young and Featherpaw was a bit older then Moonpaw, so Mintpaw was small enough to avoid his hits with her small, petite body.

She avoided another blow and jumped onto Featherpaws back, who reared up after feeling a weight on his back. Mintpaw flew off his back and was pinned down by Featherpaw. „The battle is over!“, Thunderscar called out and Mintpaw scrambled to her mentor, Vanillaheart.

„Those were some great moves, we should practice it some more, how about we teach the other apprentices tomorrow?“, Vanillaheart purred. „Yes please!“, Mintpaw called out and scurried to the other apprentices.

Moonpaw joined the other shecat apprentices. „Nice, you got a lot of herbs!“, Lilacpaw exclaimed. „Here, let me help you carry those!“, Peacockpaw called out and Moonpaw handed her some. They soon started heading back to camp.

Rubypaw and Butterflypaw gestured for Moonpaw and Lilacpaw to stay behind. „OK, so we think Goldpaw likes Ravenpaw!”, Butterflypaw squealed. „Really? I thought Goldpaw liked Moonpaw,“ Lilacpaw teased. Moonpaw just ignored that comment. „Did you guys tell Ravenpaw?“, Moonpaw asked.

„Yeah, but she refused to believe us,“ Rubypaw mewed. „We should try getting them together, Ravenpaw is such a sour prune, maybe a mate will help her,“ Butterflypaw suggested. „Oooh yes, next time one of us gets to lead a patrol, we need to make sure the two of them get together in one group!“, Lilacpaw purred.

They arrived at camp and Moonpaw skipped to the medicine cat den with Peacockpaw. „Thanks for helping me!”, Moonpaw purred. „No problem!“, Peacockpaw answered and ran out to join her mentor Spiraltail.

Moonpaw started to sort out the herbs when Frostleaf entered. „Hello father, we were able to get a whole heap of herbs!“, Moonpaw greeted him. Frostleaf sat down next to her. „Hello Moonpaw, you did a great job at that. Who joined you?“ „The others had a fight in the sand arena and Lilacpaw went with me,“ she replied and threw a dry stem out. „Very good. When you are done with sorting out the herbs, could you please go and take care of Skycloud? She has been complaining of a large amount of ticks and a raspy throat and her bedding needs to be changed,“ Frostleaf said while flicking a leaf off his chest. „Alright! What will you be doing now?“, Moonpaw asked curiously.

„I need to go pay ShadowClan a visit, they have been complaining about a lack of coltsfoot.“ Moonpaw nodded and scooted some coltsfoot over to him. Frostleaf left and Moonoaw felt kind of sad that she couldn’t talk to her father some more.

Ever since she has become more independent and can treat cats by herself, he had seemed a bit distant, as if he were wandering in his own little world.

She sighed and put the last few herbs away. She took the old, withered herbs and threw them out. Lilacpaw, Butterflypaw, Goldpaw and Rubypaw were out sunning themselves. Moonpaw wanted to join them, but she firstly had to finish her duties. Her father was out, which means she was the only cat with medicinal knowledge in camp.

She returned to pick up some lovage, bright-eye and some mouse bile. She calmly walked towards the elders den, making sure to check on her clan mates. Tigermoon was sharing tongues with her brother, Bouldershoulder and her sister, Waterwave. Moonpaw couldnt help noticing that Waterwave had gained a large amount of weight, her stomach was rather bloated. She should check on that later.

Finally, Moonpaw had arrived. „Skycloud, can I enter?“, she mewed softly. „Come in!“, Skycloud rasped. Moonpaw walked in. Skycloud was spread out in her nest. „When is that old goose Thunderscar coming to join me?“, she rasped. „I don’t know, although I heard Badgerstar considering sending him here,“ Moonpaw replied while checking Skyclouds pelt.

She found a particularly big tick and bit it until it made a big crack. „Say, where is my son? Or is he too fancy to check on his own mother?“, Skycloud grumbled. „Oh, Frostleaf? He went to ShadowClan to drop off some coltsfoot.“ „That darn clan still needs our help?! I remember many moons back where we had to give them our hard earned freshkill… they have no honor!“ Moonpaw nodded and added some more bile.

ShadowClan has been pretty dependent on them. She finished Skyclouds pelt and chewed up the herbs which she then gave Skycloud to swallow. „Yuck, it smells disgusting!“, Skycloud hissed. „What if I get you some water?“, Moonpaw suggested.

She wanted to finish up as quickly as possible so she could share some freshkill with the others befor the hunting patrol returned. „Yeah, go ahead, my throat is parched!“, Skycloud groaned. Moonpaw rushed out, plucked some moss and dipped it into the water.

She returned and dripped a bit into her mouth. „Now take these herbs and then I will drench out some more water for you so we can clean out the flavor,“ Moonpaw exclaimed. Skycloud quickly swallowed the poultice and Moonpaw drenched it out. Skycloud smacked her lips. Ravenpaw entered and dropped off a mouse. „Youngling, stay here! You haven’t visited me in a while!“, Skycloud purred. „Don’t you think that there must be a reason?“, Ravenpaw replied and left in a hurry. „Don’t worry, I will make sure to visit you more,“ Moonpaw reassured her.

She quickly changed Skyclouds bedding and after being reassured that she was comfortable, she left.

Sapphirepaw greeted her and Moonpaw came to sit next to her. Together they shared tongues until the hunting patrol came back.

Stubbylegs, Mangofur, Blackpaw, Stripefur, Petalear and Whitecloud returned with a whole heap of prey. Moonpaw strained her eyes and could make out two doves, a vole, three rabbits, five mice and a sparrow. „Nice catch!“, Badgerstar purred. „Skycloud already had a mouse,“ Bouldershoulder called out.

„Thunderscar and Jaguarspots can choose first as they are senior warriors,“ Badgerstar called out and beckoned the old couple to come forward. They chose their share of the prey and soon enough the clan came flooding in to take some freshkill for themselves.

Moonpaw waited until the crowd had died down a bit before choosing a mouse. As she was leaving, she heard her name being called.(Comment octopus so I know someone is actually reading this)

It was Lilacpaw, who was beckoning her over to join her and the other apprentices on a rock. Moonpaw leaped up and made herself comfortable next to Blackpaw and Rubypaw. Ravenpaw was about to turn around when Bouldershoulder talked to her. Ravenpaw came stomping up, looking begrudged. Soon enough, the clearing was full of the sounds of chewing. Moonpaw relished the warm freshkill and let the flavor dwell on her tongue. Suddenly her meal was disturbed by the sounds of a cat vomiting. Waterwave was aggressively throwing up her previous meal!
