there ya go...contact lens and hair dyed...Jamie's not possessed by Pitch Black ^^" <<< though i really like that idea, ROFL.about this black thing, do you agree? i used to think just like Jamie. made me feel comfortable until a friend told me i stood out because everyone is wearing colorful clothes and i was the only one with black...that's when i stopped wearing black -*- sheesh.

I used to wear black all the time, black and red(they are also my favorite colors). At the time I did want to blend in and felt very safe in them. I gave it up because I wasn't any good at it and I had discovered colors. Anyways I feel more comfortable in bright warm colors.
Those relations that you make with the characters really makes the story come to life. Its a true pleasure to read.

haha, actually there's no color that really stands out in the world. everyone is wearing every color (unless you're in a certain place, yes?). i like colorful things since Kingdom Hearts came into my life.

Bonbonpich, me understands too. I wear tons of black and dark clothes….and I pride in myself that I stand out a lot from the rest. Everyone, it seems, is always asking and judging me because of this, even family members, and they are all worried that I’m depressed, or that I cut myself. But that is never the case! I just love wearing dark clothes…I feel like they make me blend in with the shadows, and turn me invisible from horrible, prying eyes… it’s a feeling, I can’t really xplain. I just love it, and no one can tear me away from it.

i used to love dark and gothic stuffs, a lot. LOL, well, still do, but not as much. i sort of, get past that. of course, people (especially family) would see this love for gothic as weird. and i would admit that yes, me, and even most of us here are a few exception from the norms. but i don't really mind anymore

Yup… my whole family is convinced I’m a psycho now…and it tends to get into my mind a lot… ;^; I get so depressed when they talk about me like I’m not even there, and especially when they demand for me to change…. I am the eldest of 3 little sisters, and the oldest of those 3 is always bad-mouthing me in front of people, talking about how she doesn’t want to be like me at all… she calls me creepy and crazy a lot. My parents are getting on board now too, telling me that since I’m the eldest I should act more like a role model when I already prided myself as a good one. After all, I get great grades, I am independent, and I always stay true to my emotions, but it seems that none of that maters at all. Like everyone else outside, my parents are starting to judge me because of my likes. They keep blaming my every wrong-doing on my bands, and on my computer time when actually, it’s them that are getting me depressed so much. The computer is the only place where I can get cheered up…. It’s my only safe haven left… but they don’t understand that. They just want to blame anything for my new rebellious attitude.

i assure you, it'll past. parents don't understand teenagers are normal. especially if you're gothic? emo? like a real one? i dont' know if we have that in my country. but i know i western country, they do. i've a friend who's past the point of being gothic but sure she went through what you've been through. i understand sometimes we get more understanding people online because they're more like us. you're not alone.

Yes, I have always assured myself of that too... though it's kinda hard once they have stuck wit the idea that you are insane. Emo? I like the style of it, but I don't cut myself... I love reading bloody stories, but I don't really love seeing them in real life ^^' Watching my own blood arise my pale skin will be too much for me... plus, I can't handle pain. I'm afraid I'm to much a chicken to try it. Thanks or reading my thoughts... I appreciate this.

I sorta agree with what Jamie says. I prefer black because I find it more comfortable, and I'm very bad a socializing. So I feel like I'll deal with it less if I wear all black, since more people woul probably stay away from me that way. That, and I like black. But my entire family doesn't like the fact that I want to wear alot of black and I don't like clothes shopping... so I don't really get my way. OTL At least my mum knows that I dislike colours like pink (blegh).

Pink is just a colour I can't wear. xDD I just really don't like it. So imagine my face when my mum had my dad paint my room a dull pink without telling me!!

What Jamie says is true, I'm just like him (though my parents disapprove of it and try and make me wear colorful clothes mostly pink yuck >.<) I'm not social able and don't like make new friends because no one would understand what I love and like. I have long black hair if I was use to contacts I would have black contacts I have dark brown eyes.... I only have 2 friends and they're boys. I don't like to be friends with some girls they're too preppy and always up to no good (no offence to everyone on here). So I understand what Jamie's going through, sometimes I pick fights though I don't start them but I do finish them. I cuss a lot to (just not in front of my parents) and flip the bird at people I hate or dislike.

i think lots of us are going through the same things since we're basically the same. i cried once when my mum forced me into a brand name clothes (now that i think about it, this's silly and hilarious), that was long time ago. i know what you mean about preppy, girly girls. luckily, my closed friends are nothing like that.

My parents thought it was a stage and I would grow out of it, but nope. I have a younger sister who is all girly and preppy, she buys the most exspensive clothes. My parents and I always went at each mother's throats when it came to school. I always wanted to wear my black t-shirts and big t-shirts that has something on it, a saying or just a picture of a wolf or wolves (my favorite animal), I manage to wear some of them to school but always got chewed out when I got home. I act like I listen but I don't and do it again. They always threaten me that they would burn all my shirts they dislike and replace them with girl clothes with pink. I like any color but pink no way, but I like any colors red, blue, orange, grey, white, ect.
