Aw, this is perfect! Very art-nouveau in style, very sharp, and totally captures the character in stance and attitude! Love that she has both the blaster and the lightsaber, and that the eye we see is so very deadly! Great render of this beloved character!

Technically, that's not true. Not even in the old Jedi Order. Jedi were not allowed possessions. The only thing that even came close were their lightsabers. The Jedi Order discouraged love and relationships because possessiveness potentially grew from those things, which led to greed, so on and so forth. But certain Jedi were allowed, or even required to marry. Jedi Master Ki Adi Mundi was one. His race had a low birthrate, so by his planet's laws, he was required to marry and procreate, and so he did.

Since Luke was basically the last, he kinda rewrote a few of the rules when he started the Jedi Academy on the Yavin moon..

That's correct. Before Luke, no Jedi could marry. Then there was Corran Horn, a Jedi who already had a wife and child. Following that was Luke and Mara's wedding.
