The pistol looks perfectly fine to me. My gun drawings look like they're made from marshmellows. :/ And it's frustrating because I think drawing weapons is quite fun.
Anywho, lovely job here! I always enjoy how you shade your pictures in varying colours, like orange in this one. I can never get it to work with me....I generall stick to boring blue or purple off-shades. Love how this picture is also so bright and luminous.... And as always the way you mix your cell shading with smooth gradients is fantastic. Well-balanced colour application as well; even though you drew off Mysticmeep's references, it's still a challenge in itself to give an image flow when it comes to coloring.
I only have one quib: his right forearm (our left) is probably a little too short.

The orange shading looks great with the colors that you used. It makes the blue character stand out more. I also really like the way you shaded the blue character's hair.
