Description My first commissioned portrait to be sent overseas, all the way to Canada!

The two gentlemen are William Henry Parker, British Expeditionary Force, WWI (on the left)
Harry Parker, Canadian Expeditionary Force WWI (right)
A Much loved Grandpa and Great Uncle standing together in a photo that never existed in real life.

I believe the E in BEF and CEF was "Expeditionary" not "Enlistment"

It's just that you posted a comment correcting a mistake in the description on a cherished portrait of two war veterans; you did not bother to write anything about the portrait or the story or give me any sort of critique.

There certainly wasn't anything polite about your comment.

I think you are being very over-sensitive. I could have written "You're wrong. The E is for Expeditionary not Enlistment. Get your facts right". That would have been impolite.

But if you wish to perceive anyone correcting you as being impolite... well, I guess it makes you an artist.
