First, i'm talking about Doomguy in Classic Doom incarnation and not Doomslayer incarnation of because it's too overpower.

I like the progression of Doomguy in Classic Doom. Survived in Phobos, Deimos and Hell. Back to earth and lost his Daisy. Then fight back in Hell on Earth event and defeat Icon of Sin.

I can said he is super soldier too, but not too exaggerated like Doomslayer. But also a balance for Doomguy of because he felt pain and also need to survive and think how to beat demons with his strategy. It can be fight demons or let the demons fight each other.
