This is amazing.
Wonderful colors on that critter and the fact that it is looking up at you is simply amazing.
And the fact its based just a bit to the right makes the picture as a whole wonderfu.

how come this has over 200 views, and my spider macro shots, which i think are better, can't get out of the double digits? I'm not upset about this, I would just like to know how you get so many viewers.

That is great detail. The lower-left positioning is satisfying, made more so, I think, because he is moving (were he moving) off the frame. And the texture of the wall adds another level of interest.
Was this done with a macro? How could you get so close without him getting jumpy?
