Description I really should be working on finishing my paper and preparing for my presentation tomorrow...but I'm easily distracted...plus I'm waiting for my laundry...

It's a surprisingly dark purple flower in my back yard...not that you could tell in the photo, but whatever, I like it anyways

ta.

Edit: contrast-y

To tell you the truth I don't usally like flowers in black and white, think it takes away from the color in them, but I do like this one. The shadows give the eyes a nice place to rest and the grass is a very nice background. Would like to see a bit more contrast, but thats about the only thing I can think of to make it better. (sorry if these wont make much sence, its 1:45 am here and im kinda tired)

I completely understand what you mean. But with my silly little digital camera, color photos look un-artsy. And about the contrast, I would love to tinker around with that, but I don't have photoshop or anything just microsoft paint, and that can only do so much.

pff, don't worry about not making sense to me. I find myself not manking sense all the time, especially when I'm tired

Thats why you download photoshop from someone that has it.
Worked for me. And what kind of camera do you have?

I think my dad would have a cow if I downloaded something onto the computer (he's paranoid about viruses and such)

umm...a Kodak Easyshare. For a digital camera, thats actually pretty nice. But in terms of "artsy-ness" its only okay

I'm hoping that he'll find some software version of it and I can just install it.
He's like uber-techie and has managed to find cheap versions of software through connections in the past

yah I've found that taking b&w pictures of pretty flowers usually produces disappointingly non-stand-out-ish photos... b&w just doesn't seem to cut it for flowers.

I like the texture and detail on this one, though.

lol, yah but my color mode on my camera makes the pictures seem way less artsy and stuff

thank you muchly
