Ugh, deviantarts category system makes me want to cut my heart out with a spoon.Anyhoo, the festival season is upon us. It was Glasto the other week, but right now, this weekend, it is the BIG one. You know what I'm talking about. Yeah, Guilfest!!! Voted the most family friendly festival last year!! Rock on bee hatches!!
My friend is headling the "Acoustic Lounge" on sunday, and I'm going to be playing bass guitar for him. So Guildford, are you ready to rock??!!.... acoustically that is.
I've drawn up this little piccie in celebration of that. It is a bit sloppy, but I'm going through a bit of a transitionary period, trying new thangs... I mean look it's got a background and stuff, that's new territory for me.
Finally I'd like to say, do not full view, this actually looks better the smaller it is. So in fact, please could you move about 10 feet away from your monitor

I actually walked around a festival dressed a little like this, got a few numbers that day, and a noisy tent that night!!! Hehe

It really reminds me of a festival. It does always seem to rain at them. I didn't realize they made acoustic bass guitars... Sounds like fun.

You can indeed get acoustic basses, however I snuck in my electric one. Our lead singer was strumming away on an acoustic, so no-one minded me plonking away on the electric

If only all festival girls were like this, I'm usually told to feck off! Glastonbury was pretty much on the shit side of music this year. No wonder there were still over three hundred tickets left when it opened! I mean, Neil Diamond, Maddonna and Jay-z..three of the most boring artists committed to sound waves? I just hope something good comes our way. I think Madonna was there, I was busy with more worthwhile "activities".
Let's hope it's better next year, with PROPER musicians. Like the pic anyway, The festival is really there! Now we just need it at the actual festivals!
