Thanks! Yeah I think the glass is originally called iris orange. Doesn't sound nearly as cool as raku.

I thought raku was a firing method. Perhaps the term means something different for glass and ceramic.

Thank you! Raku is a color also known as iris orange. I'm assuming it's called Raku because it sounds prettier and you get somewhat similar colors to a raku firing. I'm honestly not sure who or why started calling it raku.
I'll haveto do some research.
