He rears up 3 1/2 feet tall and is made of foam covered in epoxie putty. The eyes are custom made with resin and painted with a mixture of nail polish and automotive paint. They turned out a lot better than I had expected with the help of a dremel, although being made of such a relatively soft material caused problems when it came time to clean off the paint overspray. They have the proper concave shape on the back with the pupil inset a little deeper, so they don't have that flat look that so often befalls custom eyes.

This is just the equivalent of his head and shoulders, it would have taken way too much money in materials(not to mention space) to make his back half and prolegs.

On that subject, I have no idea how this happened. It's like my brain turned off for about two hours, and when I came to my senses I had cut up my extra deer form and poured the foam for the entire upper body.

'Well. That was stupid of you.' said the responsible part of my brain after its nap.

'Oh shut up,' said the part at blame for both awesomeness and stretches of homelessness, 'we've been planning this thing for over a year.'

'Not planning; daydreaming with the explicit understanding that it would be far too expensive to actually do a personal project on this scale.'

'...Same thing. Look, it's too late to turn back now anyway. Let's do it.'

'...Fine.'
