I don’t like to feel anger. What good does it do me?
I like to be calm. I like to be simple.
What do I want? That’s easy. Just let me wander.

But they don’t like me to wander.
Who? Friends, family, society itself.
They want us to stay put. “Why travel if you’ll only be there a few days?”
“What’s the point?”
I tell them I need to wander and they tell me to sit down.
Sit and work, sit and work, sit and work, sit and work.

Even still I don’t like to get angry with them.
So what if it pisses me off. Stay home again?
No I’d rather not. I’ll take a walk.

“Only five days?” Yes only five.
“What can you see in five days?”
Anything I haven’t already. That’s hardy ever enough of a reason though.
What should I tell them then? I don’t know why I wander.
I just do. Is that so strange?
“I suppose not.” Then why do you tell me to stay?
