Description Forbidden desires burn deep within,
An aching, longing, pushing me to sin.
It rages through my veins, consuming me,
You're all I can think about, even
When I'm with another.

Locked up in your box,
Hidden from the world.
I need to find the key,
I need to get inside you,
Know you, Love you.

You are afraid to trust,
I know. I have been hurt too.
But you can't live behind the wall
My darling, push yourself,
You need to feel the hurt
To feel my love.

I bang on your door,
Begging you to let me in,
To let me heal your broken heart,
To restore your faith in humanity.
I won't hurt you,
Just let me in.

thank-you very much i always try and put as Β much emotion as i can into my work. Most of my poetry is written straight from the heart, no editing, its a direct expression of what's going on inside. It is an appeal to a specific reader, if only that reader knew it existed.

Hi there! I've chosen you as the 200th person for my 200 Comments Project Challenge. Basically I'm giving comments to 200 different people in a time frame within a week

I can kinda relate to this poem due to my first love. Long story cut short we remained in love with one another even after we split up and when we seen other people. Now we've realised we can never be together after two relationships we had due to personal circumstances. I really love the visual imagery in this poem and there is a real sense of longing among other strong loving emotions. Very excellent work! ^^

There is definitely a lot of emotion put into this poem This is a complicated relationship between friends but not friends in my head unfortunately; there is something more but no chance for it to bloom where it's at, or perhaps at all. Thank you again for the lovely comments
