Description The last gasp of Jimmy Cagney in White Heat. I wanted to put exclamation marks in the title but they aren't a recognised character which sucks.

You've got a good memory for names...too good.

;_; I saw the ending of this movie.
I was in shambles because in cinemas like this I'm always rooting for the antangonist instead of the protagonist.

It's difficult not to root for Cagney, no matter how bad he is.

No; its not difficult for me at all. Movies like Psycho and White Heat I find my self more sympathetic with the antagonist and always rooting for them.

This piece really caught my eye in the search thumbnails.
It has that powerfully eerie feeling, with the jagged inking technique.
The scratches on his face add to the overall darkness of the image.

Powerful and deep. Well done.

Now, all I gotta do is buy 'White Heat' and finish it, as certain people wanted to go to sleep last time we watched the film.. so didn't manage to finish it. :3

Keep creating!

This is an amazing picture, but can you tell me what kind of white marker you used on the black ink. What I have always gets too messy & bleeds too much...

I use a white ink gel pen. They are by Pentel i think. They are great for smooth line but the trouble is they aren't that white. I generally have to scan the pictures and bleach the white a bit in Photoshop. I spent age trying to find a good enough pen so i didn't have to use software but eventually gave up.

Glad you liked to pic, thanks for the comment.

Because I always use a white Sakura pen on Sharpie and I can never get it opaque enough without photoshop. I'll try the gel pen. Thanks & you're welcome!

I loved that movie! JC was so awesome in it... that scene and when he found out about his mother's death are simply amazing. You've made a great tribute to this movie

Thank you very much! He's great, I had just worked my way through a four film box set and finished with White Heat. Such a good ending. Will be putting some more movie pieces up soon hopefully. Thanks for the add.

Black marker and white gel pens. I put it through photoshop to create a starker contrast after. It's a great movie, you should watch it through if you get chance.
