If this is what the actual mask ends up looking like, it's going to be a huge step in the right direction. I look at this and see BATMAN. I look at Bale and I see either a baggy-necked Conehead or a small-mouthed bobblehead.
And if nothing else, Affleck's got the perfect face for it. We haven't had a Batman actor look this much like the comic book since Clooney (although one hopes it works out better for Affleck this time around).
