Brendon finds himself wondering how the fuck he can remember kissing Ryan for the first time. Mostly because the first time he kissed Ryan, he had had two Monsters and a coke and half a bag of gummy bears and he's pretty sure his face was tingling and woah. Brendon tends to forget things, but even more so when he's on one of his sugar highs, even though most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Cause that's just how Brendon is; loud, obnoxious, giggly, and far too hyper for his own good. That's just Brendon. But what he does remember, was that he did it.

It was innocent. Brendon walking (more like bounding) towards the back of the tourbus as his face twitched with a grin that wouldn't leave, no matter how hard he tried. He vaguely remembers thinking that his face was bound to split in two, and he'd be really ugly looking. But none the less, the smile stayed, even when he reached the back of the bus and saw Ryan sitting there, his head beant low as his thin fingers lazily strummed over the neck of his favorite guitar. Brendon remembers thinking wow. Cause just, wow. Like angels playing, you know?

So that's exactly what he told him. "What are you playing? It sounds like angels." and Brendon has to admit, that sounded pretty lame. Angels? Yes, definately masculine. And he must of scared Ryan, because he jumped a little and his head snapped up, accompanied by wide eyes. But that's just Ryan; way too paranoid. Brendon is too, but.

"Uh, it's.You really think so? It's-" but Ryan wasn't able to talk anymore, on account of Brendon leaning down, his hands clasped behind his back as he quickly plants a kiss on the side of Ryan's mouth. Not on the lips, no. That'd be too creepy, and even though Brendon was half intoxicated with sugar, he wasn't that stupid. So just a quick peck on the edge of Ryan's lips, the angle awkward and sloppy.

"Yeah. Like angels." he grinned, straightening back up and bouncing on the balls of his feet. His grin was ten times bigger, if possible. And he had to remind himself hey. Stop smiling or you're gonna be really ugly. So he let it faulter, still letting it hang on his face, just not as big. And very childishly, he waved at the thinner man and bounded back to the front of the bus, jumping on the unbearably plaid couch and stretching his body over the whole length, his head resting in the dip of Spencer's thighs.

"I kissed him." Brendon giggled, his nose crinkling and his bright red-rimmed glasses being pushed up the bridge of his nose. And he says it one more time, this time a whisper. "I kissed him." and all Spencer does is raise an eyebrow, traces of a smile on his lips. Cause he knew he would.

(Applause applause, no wait wait.)

The next day, Ryan walked up to Brendon and asks what all that was about. The kiss - what was that about? And Brendon doesn't tell him that he was probably mere seconds from having a heart attack from all the sugar he consumed. No, all he does is shrug and smile. That face-splitting smile that he's now come to embrace.

"I kissed an angel."
