I like the detail on the cross.

Don't mean to criticize. I know you try to update as much as you can and you do it beautifully. But Claire's mom's shirt sleeves change length...

It's a magic shirt!

How can I get one?

Or is it exclusive to households with necromanciers?

I blame the necromancer. Crazy magic side effects.

Yipes. This could turn ugly. Poor Claire! I love the style of this page, especially the use of black.

Allergy to religious items, check! though I wonder, does this apply solely to christian religious items or all holy talismans regardless of religion?

I would imagine most holy items, but since vampires are European, most hunters use Christian objects.

Well, the Japanese vampires are different from European ones; way harder to kill and fewer vulnerabilities... or so I'm told.

And the vampires on Blade fall over dead if you breath on them.

That bad huh? I've never seen any of the Blade trilogy, nor any related comics. Where'd you get your info on vampires anyways? There's some information I'd like to check.

I refer to Blade the series, which so far I like.

My info? Mostly Bram Stoker's Dracula or on the web (you have to dig around to find the good sites, but they're there). However, I am liable to take artistic liberties with vampire abilities. Claire will not be changing into a wolf or fog or anything....really cool as that would be....

That's probably something that comes with a lot of practice anyways and since she hasn't even accepted that she could even possibly be a vampire, I don't think she'd go into the whole metamorphesis thing just yet.

True, if vampires in my comic did that. But I made a decision early on to nix that ability for all of them. I mean, can't make these buggers TOO powerful, can we?

When you think about it, vampires are kinda 'mary-sue-'ish aren't they?
