Let's,, let's not talk about her asymmetric wings here alright

I was in the mood to draw ponies but none worked out, so I drew wings, then a body, then legs, then a head and oops a phoenix-ass pony happened
I guess you could call it concept art/reference sheet?? Her full name is Azuri Calore, and is supposed to be the empress over Ashtethis, a big southern city in my comic. She's a very minor character and doesn't play a big role in said comic, but she'll make brief appearances whenever it's necessary.
I tried to structure her name accordingly to the land she rules, Saddle Arabia. Azuri means two things; Beautiful woman (Or just Beauty), and Warrior. And Calore means Heat/Warmth, which ties in with Saddle Arabia itself. So essentially, her names means something along the lines of "Deadly heat" or "Beautiful Flame", something along the line of that atleast. Not translated to 100%, but it's a rough meaning so whatever
She's also not an alicorn since,, I didn't feel like adding another alicorn OC to the comic since alicorn OCs are generally unliked because they're so rare and OP, plus it would kind of throw off the balance of the canon and I don't want to do that any further than what I already have with this project. Therefor she's instead a pegasus and holds the title of "Empress" instead of "Princess".
Her "emblem" is that of a Phoenix, which (in my canon) is the emblem of Ashtethis itself, much like how the long crested eagle is the national animal of the Western Division. The Sphinx also shares this place, but the Phoenix is the most recogniceable to the city of Ashtethis.
She was also supposed to be a horse??? Since horses are native to Saddle Arabia in the series it would make most sence, but I'm pretty sure only ponies can have wings and a horn so... that's awkward
Maybe she's a mix or something, I'm not sure.

(I'm sorry I just had to point it out, flowy manes aren't just exclusive to alicorns, they're also apparently a thing for ponies who possess alot of magic such as Mistmane and Sombra, sorcerers essentially. Plus I like the look of it, so) (and yes Mistmane Sombra and the Pony of Shadows are all technically unicorns which is why they have the magic, but it's confirmed that pegasi have magic too which is what gives them the ability to fly. Azuri is just like that, but is mixed in with royal blood. And you can see what happens with the mane of those with a royal ass)

Don't have much else to say about her as of now, I will develop her further in the future. Her personality traits and such are still under development, but as of now she's supposed to be a very serious ruler, with a hint of rudeness to her. She's not a very likeable pony per se, but she takes her job as empress very seriously, and does a great job doing the empress-y stuff.

Age, era when she's alive and abilities are still being developed.

I love her already.
