Honestly, it was kind hard to paint, haha. I made a copy of Marceline's file and re-painted it to a more masculine face, since they're twins I wanted to keep their features very similar but gender-bent, which was definitely much trickier. There's a lot less soft and round curves to work with and my hand no likey. I think I painted, finished, and then re-painted his lips like... four times
Still thinks it's pretty accurate to Mordecai though! Obviously it's not like I have very hyper-realistic proportions and facial features in my regular artstyle, so translating those to more semi-realism was tricky, but I got the hang of it. Definitely things I could improve on, but for a second attempt it's not bad! Thinking of making more of them with my other characters cause they were really fun. (just gotta find a better brush for hair and beards, man)
