In AU in the magic forest they are werefoxes. Moira is a tiny black one and Vechter is a woods spirit who looks like a large red fox.
Werefoxes there are in Briar's woods are a common species. They have meetings and holidays when they all are getting together.
It was raining cats and dogs when Vechter saw a little beautiful fox sitting alone on one of those meetings. He came closer to her and took under his wing without doubt
