The train in the mist, crossing a sinister forest...
The atmosphere of this scene is interresting by the potential narrative of it. The frame is also well balance by having a nice line of direction.
This picture also has a material contrast: the steam technology of humanity amoung the trees. It is also better as we can't see the tracks.
After some other thoughts, I think the aspect which strenght the composition is the depth of it. If this was shot on the side, maybe it wouldn't have been as strong of a composition.
I don't know if a blue sky and a clear forest would have affect the power of the shot, but this mist also give a more personnal meaning with this encounter.
As for the colors, I will guess more than I can see, as the possible red (I guess) on the train and the metallic texture is strangely in harmony with the colors of nature.
Overall, this is a nice shot.
