Description oil on canvas 36 x 47 cm
inspired by an unknown tattoo adrianborda.com/style/etc/love… and the tantric alchemy

update: ~waterDoe just showed me the original where from all started, it seems that the tattoo I seen was a copy as well after Redmer Hoekstra's drawing www.redmerhoekstra.nl/_wp_gene…

Your verssion is better than the original and the copy/tattoo. The concept is great! The texture of the shelf or whatever it is is great so realistic and distressed. the background is simple but has a little bit of detail, it just adds realism without too much distraction. love the way you made the waterline and the drops. pretty much pretend that I complimented every part of this. Now since you ask for critique, a couple small things that only appear to me only by carefully scrutinizing : It is not apparent whether the large canister they are in is glass or plastic. so if it ought to be plastic then nevermind, but if you mean it to be glass - the ball on the top does look like glass also does the sun and moon symbol seem more like something that would be made into glass but then again it takes away from the utilitarian look of the decanter or whatever you want to call this tank they are in, the lines on the side make it look like something out of a lab, but the lid looks like art. Its surreal so thats ok but what most makes it look like plastic to me is the thickness of the bottom and at the edges where the lid meat the container. the vase on the otherhand looks like smooth clear glass definitely. and you might have also put a few small bubbles clinging to the people or the sides below the water in the container, and made them slightly brighter because if you look at your skin under water it seems more pale and it would also give it a look as though they were preserved in formaldehyde, and pale skin often looks more delicate and vulnerable/ tender. Its really amazing I cant stop looking at this. kind of reminds me something you might see in a perfect circle/ tool video.

I love this a lot. That is a cool way to have an tattoo in all. One day I want to do something like that. But, not now. Lol.

Nice work on the oil paint. I know that took sometime. But, any-who......Love can be right for the heart but, take time to find the complete heart that is right for you.

About that unknown tattoo, it's a copy of a piece done by Beeldend Kunstenaar . If you go here www.redmerhoekstra.nl/page3.ht… you can find the original drawing on the third page in his gallery. ^_^

It takes a couple of minutes to pick up on the details of what is actually happening in this painting.

I saw the figures first, then the fact that they were copulating inside a human heart that had been cut in half to expose them, and lastly, the arrow that cupid has shot at a 45 degree angle into the center of their love.

You need to know that I have been watching you for a few years now, and your work has inspired me to pick up the oils and start doing fine art canvas paintings again.

Maybe if you get a moment, you could take a look at the latest Mayan influenced paintings I have posted that are oils on Canvas.

I can't help but thank you immensely for something you had no idea you were causing. I am grateful for the deepness that your paintings have. They bring me great joy.

I am now engrossed on 9 different paintings. I have them all close to completion at this time.

Because of your inspiring work, I have decided to open up a traveling gallery. I already have my top of the line tent for showing my fine art prints on canvas. (I keep the originals). I am scheduled to show inside of the Art Walk of Scottsdale Arizona's 5th Avenue art galleries this October. If you are aware of this immense art gallery section of my state, then you know that this is a big deal.

Once again, thank you for being so dedicated and inspired, you have helped me do the same.
