I love how the shadow is on one side and the light on the other- how both light and dark are creeping through the woods . I love the mist- that which gave this image a very mysterious atmosphere. I simply adore the shadows from the trees, that dances across the white snow. It is like something you'll see in a dream or those fantasy movie. I also love the simplicity of this picture- obviously not that many colors involved, just shades of grey but still very beautiful to behold. I am sure that I need not say just how much I love this photo- for I already used the word love more than once in describing it. ^o^

I do not even know how to begin to critique this image, because this is just perfect!
Wondering though, how it would have looked if you left a bit more of the top of the trees to see, so the photo would be shaped like a square. It would look nice, but perhaps you had a reason to crop it like this.
The light and the fog creates a beautiful mood, and the shapes and simplicity make it very interesting to look at. The light and shadows are well balanced too.

The movement of the snow dunes is captured perfectly here.Β The shadows give one the sense of undulating sea waves that are perhaps, causing the trees to bend and sway just as they appear.Β Nicely done dear Adrian.

If you go to the store , you often have to play like 10-15 $ (for very cheap ones) calenders with photos that have a bad quality compared to some deviantART photos. And somehow people still continue buying them, even when you could download a free calender template and photos from the net
