A search for the ficitive world Husphuel. I'm not sure for the ambience... It seems to be a swamp, but I think it's too clean for a swamp... Ok I know, more vetegation like some slime things or dirty heaps... I not working on this in particular for this sketch.
But for the colors, the global ambience. It's too...fairy, no ?
Une recherche pour le monde Husphel. Je ne suis pas convaincue de l'ambiance. C'est sensée être un marrais, mais c'est un peu trop clean pour être un marrais. Au niveau de la végétation c'est sûr, mais ce n'est pas sur ça que je voulais travailler.
Plus au niveau des couleurs et de l’ambiance générale. Ça me semble trop "féerique". Mais pourquoi pas après tout. C'est serin...

I have made some settings on photoshop for the constrast and intensity of colors. I loose every time many colors, shades and depth when I scan my work . The numeric rendering of my original is flat and dull, it's a systematic step for me :/

Wow I though it is half traditional technique, half digital painting - so bright and clear colours! Once upon a time I had the same problem with scanning watercolours. I tried different methods but the best results I got after investing in scanner meant for photos scanning not documents for example epson.

Oh yes, but this numeric version is still different to the traditional version. It's a little more bright. It's so easy to adjust levels for give a boost to the light or shadows^^
I considere a orignal's scanned picture like an other picture. It must speak out by it self, with media it use. So I don't search the exact ressemblance.
Thanks for your advice. I'm looking for invest in material, but I was thinking a camera. I know a painter who use a good reflex for taking a picture of his painting. It's looks good. I will take a look for the scanner too

This looks really pretty your shading is perfect and so is the lighting! it looks like a swamp to me very fantasy like I think mainly because of the scenery. there are a lot of things I love about this your artwork is very lovely
