No really he was just beeing observant. Every good killer must keep an eye out for his opponent's weaknesses.
And all good killers like carrots
Once again, that's all the questions i'll be answering for this round.

Being a pedantic sort of bitch, I am compelled to point out that the majority of humans have their heart on the left side. The illustration has it correct but the text has it wrong. (Unless of course this is all as seen from Ripper's perspective, where Violet's left is his right and yadda yadda.)

I did meant the right side from the general perspective, otherwise i would have said "HER right side" instead of "THE right side".

Er, I hate to burst your bubble, but I'm quite certain that the heart is in fact located in the middle.
Then again, the whole regenerative ability could have easily screwed up her biological systems to the point where it actually functioned like that, to give off a sense of invincibility, so I suppose it works in the end.
I do believe I just shot it down and built it back up in one go.

Well yeah, but it's not EXACTLY in the middle right ? It's mostly reachable throught the right side of the chest (bullets, weapons...). You can even feel it beating on one side and not on the other.
But yea i guess you have a point. My knowledge of the human anatomy is a litte rusty ^^'

The blood distribution thing was a pretty big clue, but then again nothing's ever certain when facing the supernatural.
Maybe the blood left in her veins would have regenerated the heart all on it's own and get it pumping again.
And he is observant. Have you seen the SIZE of his EYEBALLS ?
