Hey, Alvin said she was welcomed to the family as long as she does not have any qualms against him. I said she wouldn't as long as you three are kind to her. 

And I think I have an idea! For a late Christmas present, Dave will receive a big Christmas box. When he opens it, your little future sister will pop out of the box, with a big red bow around her neck, and will cheerfully say to him, "Hi Dave! I'm going to be the Chipmunks' little sister! Do you think you can support me?"
